The Name Hester

The name Hester is not a man's name. So may people think Hester is my last name. I often get called Heather or Esther. I don't mind that too much, but I really dislike being called Kester, Jester, Pester, and the worst is Chester. It is really funny when people think Hester is my last name. This happens often on the phone when someone is interviewing me for my personal information. They will ask my name and right after I say Hester they ask me for my first name. I then say Ford and they get really confused. They are more willing to believe that my first name is Ford rather than Hester. At times that is entertaining and at times it is not. The most unusual name mix up I have had was a small child who calls me "Mustard." My kids call me Hestarian, but that is for completly different reasons.

Blogging is an interesting concept. I think there should be a movie called, "The Blog." It should be a take off from "The Blob." The Blog monster could come and eat your views and sip them out to the entire world. The "Blog Monster" could also explode into "Baby Blogs" and before long there will be a scary blogs all over the world. If you have creative ideas about "The Blog Movie," share them with me for laughs.
